Navigating the App
The admin app has the same frame on every screen: a sidebar on the left, a top bar across the content, and the content itself.
The sidebar
Top to bottom:
- Account switcher — only relevant if you belong to more than one account. Switching reloads the app in that account's data.
- View-mode switcher — Rentals or Fairground. This swaps the entire nav list below it.
- The nav list — the sections for the current side.
- Settings — pinned to the bottom, along with your own profile menu. The nav scrolls; the footer stays put.

The top bar
- Global search — searches across everything at once: renters, bookings, invoices, payments, spaces, events, entries, vendors. Start typing and results group by type; jump straight to a record without navigating to its section first.
- Notification bell — in-app notifications for things that need you: signatures completed, payments received, documents awaiting approval, tasks overdue.
- Your profile menu — your own details, password, and sign-out.
On mobile
The sidebar collapses. The most-used sections sit in a bottom bar and everything else lives behind More, which renders the same nav list — so anything you can reach on desktop you can reach on a phone.
List tables stack into cards, filter bars collapse into an accordion, and money tables scroll sideways inside their own card rather than stretching the page.
Detail screens
Most records — a renter, a booking, an event, a vendor — open into a detail screen with a tab bar. Tabs are consistent across the product:
- Overview — the summary and the things you act on most
- Documents — files attached to this record, with approval state and expiry
- Activity — the audit trail, newest first
Plus whatever the record itself needs: a booking adds Agreement, Signatures, Tasks, and Payments; a renter adds Bookings and Payments.
Things worth knowing
- Confirmations are in-app. The product never uses a browser alert box. Destructive actions open a dialog with the consequence spelled out.
- Dates use a picker. Every date field opens the same calendar picker rather than a browser-default one.
- Record pickers search. Any field that picks a renter, a space, an add-on, or a team member lets you type to filter rather than scrolling a long list.
- The activity log is not editable. If something looks wrong, the log tells you who changed it and when.
Platform admin
If you administer the platform itself, an All Accounts item appears at the bottom of the nav. From there you can act inside a customer's account to help them; while you do, a banner sits across the top of every screen and the session is recorded with a reason, an IP, and start and end times. The nav mirrors exactly what that customer sees — the banner's Exit button is the way back.
